On Sunday, 17 May 2015, at Assembly Hall of the American University in Beirut, "Ayg" choir together with folk orchestra gave a concert dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The conductor of the concert was Zakar Keshishian and piano accompanist - Liana Harutyunyan.The members of the choir and orchestra received standing ovation by which the audience expressed its gratitude to the young singers and musicians and especially to the conductor Zakar Keshishian. The conscious dedication of the young boys and girls to the Armenian song, music and national values - the best evidence of the people's survival and claims, had really fascinated the audience. The event was organized by the Regional Executive Board of Hamazkayin Lebanon, under the patronage of Alan and Irma Balians. Garin Gazanchian made the opening speech saying that the event was dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, and that not only this year, but also in coming years, we will remember and proudly claim a just solution for our cause.
