To revive the cultural life in California through Art and Painting, two major organizations- the Armenian Cultural and Educational Society's West American Regional Executive Board and "Asbarez" Newspaper, bringing their efforts together, have organized an unprecedented exhibition-sale, which will be open in November 14-16, at ''Hovig's Fine Art'' Art Gallery. The exhibition will present the public the works of the Armenian artists known in 48 different countries, including the classics and currently known artists, as well as the new names.
"The main objective of such exhibition is to promote this form culture, thus supporting our contemporary artists. In the meantime, we want to create a financial base through this sale, so that to make this initiative permanent," says the co-organizer of the exhibition, a well-known artist, ''Hovig's Fine Art'' Gallery Founder Hovig Kochinian. Our compatriot, famous in the American and international reputable auctions for his valuable works, in parallel with his private activities, for more than 20 years has been promoting the works of the Armenian high quality artists, revealing and presenting them to the world, thus contributing to their establishment as artists.
