We announce with great pleasure that Dr. Adrineh Karakashian, MD, one of the first alumni of the Hamazkayin Lyceum (Djemaran,) has generously donated $200,000 (U.S.) to the Central Committee of Hamazkayin for the construction of a sports and cultural structure on the estate of M. and H. Arslanian Lyceum (Djemaran) of Hamazkayin. It is not the first time that Dr. Adrineh Karakashian has expressed her love and kindness to the educational institutions of Hamazkayin through financial donations (among other means). Throughout the years, she has frequently contributed financial assistance for the realization of several projects related to the lyceums of Hamazkayin in Lebanon and Marseille. The Central Committee has decided to name the new building “Adrineh Karakashian sports and cultural hall.” We are convinced that this new construction will make the everyday efforts of the management and teaching staff of Djemaran even more rewarding.
