Forum
Hamazkayin’s 14th Student Forum began its activities in Yerevan on July 13. 29 students from 11 countries have gathered together under one roof.
The program planned by the organizing committee includes lectures, visits, as well as social and cultural gatherings. All the activities help to plant the seeds of deep friendships among the young Armenians.
So far, the group has had the opportunity to hear two lectures.
The spiritual, historic, and cultural monuments of our fatherland, such as the St. Gregory the Illuminator Church in Yerevan, the St. Mesrob Mashdots Church in Oshagan, Keghart, Karni, the Madentaran, the half-ruined fortress Amberd from the Pakradouni Dynasty, and Yerevan State University have aroused the Forum participants’ pride.
The participants’ emotions were indescribable when they visited Dzidzernagapert. There they paid their respect to the millions of victims of the Armenian Genocide. And after visiting Yerablour, the tombs of national heroes and freedom fighters from Artsakh-Nagorno Karabagh, Vazgen Sargsyan, and Soseh Mairig, the participants concluded that we should justify their sacrifices and defend the lands of our fathers.
