The Yerevan Office of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Association has prepared and sent to press a volume of works by 25 young artists who were martyred in the 44-day war over Artsakh. The book launch will take place on June 7, 2022, at the Artists’ Union of Armenia Hall at Abovyan 16. The book is titled Yes em, yes kam (I am, I exist).
The national liberation struggle over Artsakh continues. It continues with the undoubtable determination of the citizen of Artsakh to prove with victory their right to live in Artsakh in dignity. This is the message too of the martyred boys whose works are on display.
Let us be united, the heroes intone. They have left their hopes with us, and their faith in victory. Let us never again have to write histories of a lost patrimony.
Let us be united in creating a victory and writing in Armenian history books in golden letters their heroic stories for future generations.
Let us be united in never sacrificing the truth, and the truth is forging an integral homeland at all costs.
That is how the heroes see our road ahead.
