Over a weekend in June, 2023, at the Aghbalian-Homenetmen Sports and Cultural Complex, Hamazkayin held its 29th Regional Convention. Representatives of the Hamazkayin Central Executive Board, the representative of the ARF Central Committee of Lebanon, the directors of Aztag and Vana Tsayn, the elected delegates of Hamazkayin territorial and specialized branches, guests, the administrators and faculty of the Hamazkayin Schools of Art were in attendance.
The outgoing Regional Executive Board presented its activity and financial report for its two-year term. The convention found the work of the board, its committees and structures, the territorial and specialized branch executive boards, and the Schools of Art to be worthy of high praise.
The convention found that Hamazkayin in Lebanon had succeeded, over the last two years, in moving beyond the challenges presented by the pandemic, has expanded its cultural activities, and has begun a period of revitalization.
