The students of the Parsegh Ganachian School of Music and members of the Gargach Choir on December 16, 2024, visited the seminary of the Catholicate of the Great House of Cilicia. The visit, on the occasion of the new year, was organized by the trustees and administrators of the Hamazkayin Schools of Art.
Seminary student Deacon Nerses Bajakian made opening remarks, introducing Hamazkayin to his fellow students. The education manager of the Hamazkayin Schools of Art, Gamila Yerganian, thanked the administration of the seminary for the reception and presented the program for the day. Mrs. Yerganian presented a memorial gift to the dean of the seminary, Very Rev. Fr. Barouyr Shernezian.
An impressive program followed, featuring music and songs celebrating the new year and the birth of Christ.
At the end of the program, Dean Shernezian said words of appreciation for Hamazkayin and its role in Armenian life. At the conclusion of his remarks, the dean presented a memorial gift to the Hamazkayin Schools of Art.
The seminary administration hosted a group from the Hamazkayin delegation for dinner.
