On October 7, 2023, Hamazkayin’s Central Executive Board held an online meeting with representatives from all regional and isolated branch executive boards on the collapse of Artsakh, the displacement of its population, and the consequences of the situation.
During the meeting, the Central Executive Board shared the decisions it had made at its September 16–17 plenary meeting in Yerevan. The focus was on the protection of Artsakh’s cultural monuments and Artsakh’s population’s material and spiritual needs. An emphasis was placed on the book by photographer Davit Ghahramanian, titled Artsakh: Anavart Paterazm (Artsakh: Incomplete war), which needs publicity and distribution.
In consultation with the Central Executive, regional and isolated branch executive boards have taken initiatives to support Artsakh’s children’s immediate material needs as well as their psychological, educational, and cultural wellbeing.
