On Friday, August 30, 2024, the Hamazkayin Arshak and Sophie Galstaun College hosted a poetry recital competition, in which 42 students from the second through fifth grades participated. In the first round of competition, students recited two separate poetry pieces. This event was organized in order to engage students in a love and awareness of Armenian poetry, and to give them a new outlook and practice in competitive spaces.
To encourage the participating students, whose efforts were both studious and energetic, there was an award ceremony and celebration of the participants during the school's morning gathering on September 3.
