
Hamazkayin has been working on cultural programming for the children of Artsakh since early November 2020, in cooperation with Yerevan’s National Center of Aesthetics, an art gallery featuring children’s work. At the center, refugee children from Artsakh attend group classes in various arts: drawing, choir, and theater. Once a week, the children meet with a pediatric therapist.
In November, the Hamazkayin Yerevan Office organized an outing to the Hovhannes Tumanyan museum in Yerevan, attended by schoolchildren from various parts of Artsakh.
In the same month, the office organized a visit to the puppet theater. This trip was attended by twenty students from Martakert and Hadrut.
In December, there was a trip to the Silva Kaputikyan house-museum attended by schoolchildren from Artsakh.
A trip to the Martiros Saryan museum is next on the agenda.
An exhibit of artwork by the children from Artsakh is scheduled for December.
