On Monday May 13, 2024, Hamazkayin’s Paris chapter hosted a literary evening, celebrating Krikor Beledian’s Kisheratartz literary series,
Christian Batikian, the young writer and Lecturer in Armenian Literature, Creative Writing, and Reading at Inalco, introduced Beledian's work which has spanned the decades since he settled in Paris in the 1960s.
Beledian's story sheds light on the intellect and the history of the first generation—the generation that was left in the dark. Batikian also discussed Beledian's latest work, Amerika (Ամերիքա), which was released in 2022 and published by Sargis Khachents.
