On May 19, 2025, the Hamazkayin Paris Chapter organized a meeting with Krikor Beledian and Sona Bekmezian to celebrate the French translation of Beledian’s Kisheratarts book series.
The latest book in the series, Anune lezvis dag, was published in French by Classique Garnier under the title Nom. The translator, Ms, Bekmezian, explained her work to the attendees, discussing the literary value and importance of Beledian’s books for contemporary Armenian literature.
She also highlighted the historical significance of the series, noting that the author brought to light the stories of “unknown people.”
Readings from the book in both Armenian and French offered the audience a chance to get acquainted with the work.
