On March 30, 2025, the administration of Hamazkayin's Parsegh Ganatchian Music School put on a musical concert, sponsored by the Armenian Prelacy in Aleppo and the Prelate, His Grace Bishop Magar Ashkarian. The event was in honor of composer and conductor Parsegh Ganatchian.
Audience members included Rev. Fr. Mashtots Arabatlian, representing the prelate; the Prelacy representative; the representative of the Relevant Body; and the chairperson of the Hamazkayin Regional Executive Board for Syria, as well as representatives from the school, Hamazkayin members, members from sister organizations, and music lovers from the community.
The concert began with a piece from famed musician and conductor Parsegh Ganatchian's reprtoire: the National Anthem of the Republic of Armenia, performed on the piano by music teacher Ani Poghikian. Chairperson Shogher Musheghian-Hayrapetian reflected on the program of the memorial concert, and thanked the parents of the school's students, who make the world more beautiful through their music education.
