
The Hamazkayin Vahe Setian Press, in conjunction with the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Zavarian Student Association, on January 25, 2024, held an event at Pyunig Hall in the Aztag Building in Beirut, to celebrate the release of six new volumes in the Zavarian Collection.
Guests included Archbishop Shahe Panossian, prelate of the Armenian Apostolic Church; Father Gabriel Mouradian, patriarchal general vicar of the Armenian Catholic Diocese; Paul Haidostian, PhD, president of Haigazian University and chair of the Central Committee of the Union of Armenian Evangelical Churches in the Near East; Rev. Raffi Messerlian, clerk of the Central Committee of the Union of Armenian Evangelical Churches in the Near East; other clergy; government officials; representatives of political organizations; Armenian Embassy staffers; and representatives of cultural, benevolent, athletic, educational, and social organizations.
Isabel Diarbi spoke on behalf of the publisher. She said the Vahe Setian Press has, since its founding, given importance to revolutionary-ideological literature and to revolutionary figures, events, and history. She said the newly released books continued this tradition.
