"Aztag" Daily - "We believe that everything will be OK, Grandma."
These words spoken on the telephone with deceased grandmother by the man (artist Hrayr Kalemkerian) standing at the end of the closed stage, along with many other subjects and expressions, describe one situation but numerous of consequences, express the entire nature and process of life, scenes of need and agitation, human’s complaints in daily life, appeal to the God, state of passion, and ups and downs of life.
The expression like a red thread winds through the entire performance consisting of 4 different scenes. The play "Zarathustra became a dog", written by the Lebanese distinguished director and playwright Raymond Gebara, has been carefully and brilliantly staged by Hagop Der Ghoogasian. Raymond Gebara has successfully summed up in this play the simplest and most difficult situations of human life and the most sensitive ones, conveying messages to the audience. It is also noteworthy that those 4 scenes include situations and memories, though completely different ones, related to war, which proves that the play was born in the period of Lebanese war.
