On March 18, 2024, Krikor Beledian presented Marc Nichanian's French translation of Zareh Vorpouni's novel The Candidate, published by the Parentheses publishing house.
The evening was opened on behalf of Hamazkayin Paris by Arpi Shirvanian, who introduced the speaker and discussed the novelist.
Nearly 50 attendees listened with rapt attention as Beledian described the trajectory of Vorpuni's career as a novelist, and the first generation of writers in France and their literary accomplishments.
