On May 31, 2024, the Djemaran Harutiun and Azniv Bezdigian Garden was the site of a gala reception attended by over 100 guests. Arin Kalousdian, head of the Djemaran public relations office, opened the event and was followed by Djemaran principal Paola Yeghiayian, who briefly reported on the number of students, educational and other programs, and accomplishments of the school. A video highlighted past accomplishments and upcoming plans. The guests then mingled and enjoyed the hospitality.
At the end of the evening, Ms. Kalousdian announced that $39,400 had been raised for the Djemaran. She thanked the donors and expressed confidence that the sum of the donations would rise in the coming days. The event was live streamed and donations came from overseas as well as from guests.
The Djemaran administration thanks the donors and promises to continue working with them to realize the school’s programs.
