On September 17, 2023, at the Hollywood Daghlian Cultural Center, Hamazkayin of the Western United States held a gala celebration of its fifty-fith anniversary and opened a new page in the organization’s life—full of beautiful memories and the sense of purpose, since the proceeds were earmarked for the region’s plans to build a new cultural center.
The committee formed for this purpose under the auspice of the Regional Executive Board was thrilled with the presence of over 350 members, donors, and guests. They started arriving at 5 p.m. and enjoying the varied canapes and each other’s warm company. There was a silent auction of works of art. Nectar Chilian was performing sweet melodies on the kanoun.
The hall came alive with upbeat expressions, as older and younger members from various chapter warmly greeted each other in the celebratory atmosphere.
