On July 4, 2016, the final grade students of "Arshak and Sophie Golsten" Djemaran of Australia visited the office of the Armenian Educational and Cultural Society in Yerevan, accompanied by Principal Eddie Demirjian and teachers. Their traditional visit to Motherland was a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with the social and political realities of Armenia, to closely recognize its rich traditions, and just to enjoy their Homeland.
Chair of the Armenian Educational and Cultural Society Fund, Lilit Galstyan received the Djemaran delegation. Welcoming the students and their accompanying teachers, Lilit Galstyan spoke of Hamazkayin's mission, its large world-wide family, major activities and achievements, the long way passed by the Hamazkayin Society, as well as highlighted the important role of the young generation in the plans for future. Then, during the discussion, the students shared their impressions and talked about the importance of preserving the national values and culture. They expressed their admiration of the national historical and cultural monuments and architecture. They were surprised by the contemporary spirit of Yerevan, and their visits to the National Assembly and the Ministry of Diaspora.
The meeting passed in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The participants of the meeting took pictures and definitely promised to return to Homeland again.
