
The directors of four educational institutions operating under the auspices of Hamazkayin met online on February 21, 2025. The meeting, organized by the Beirut Office of the Hamazkayin Central Executive Board, was chaired by Tamar Der Bedrossian, vice-chairperson of the board.
The participating schools were the Hamazkayin M. and H. Arslanian Djemaran, represented by its director, Paula Yeghiayan; the Hamazkayin Marseille Djemaran, represented by its director, Shaké Jamgotchian; the A. and S. Galstaun College of Sydney, represented by its director, Edward Demirdjian, and member of the Hamazkayin Regional Executive Board for Australia Nishan Basmajian; and the Hamaskaïne-Tarkmantchatz School of Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, represented by its Armenian language coordinator and teacher Tamar Panossian.
Ms. Der Bedrossian noted that the meeting was intended to introduce the directors to each other and facilitate the coordination of joint programs. Each director then reported on their school’s student enrollment, successes, difficulties, and future programs.
Arin Kalousdian, executive manager of the Hamazkayin Central Executive Board’s Beirut Office, presented the textbooks published by the Central Executive Board, which are already available to the schools.
In conclusion, the participants expressed their satisfaction with this constructive meeting. Various proposals were presented, which will be discussed one by one in future meetings.
