The Grammy-nominated and Juno-winning pianist and composer Serouj Kradjian, accompanied by his band, on March 18, 2023, gave a concert at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in Lebanon. The concert was held at the invitation of the Hamazkayin Regional Executive Board for Lebanon. Proceeds benefit the scholarship fund of the Hamazkayin Schools of Art.
Born in Lebanon and now based in Canada, Kradjian was accompanied by the talented musicians Aram Asatryan (violin), Yeva Gevorgyan (bass) & Aram Galstyan (percussion and trumpet).
The hall was filled to capacity. Among the guests were the prelate Archbishop Shahe Panossian; member of parliament Hagop Pakradouni, representative of the ARF Central Committee and the Armenian parliamentary faction; His Excellency Radu Mardare, ambassador of Romania in Lebanon; representatives of the Armenian embassy; a representative of Acting Minister of Culture Mohammad Wissam Al-Murtada; former and present ministers and members of parliament; Vartkes Khoshian, the mayor of Ainjar; AGBU Lebanon president Gerard Tufenkjian; representatives of the Central Executive Boards of Homenetmen and Hamazkayin; clerics; leaders of community, party, cultural, athletic, and benevolent organizations; and Hamazkayin donors.
