Thirty Hamazkayin students joined counterparts from Artsakh on a Get to Know Armenia tour on June 16, 2024, in a program jointly sponsored by the Hamazkayin Artsakh Office and the ARF Artsakh Youth Organization.
The Hamazkayin senior groups from the cities of Abovyan and Masis visited the Geghard monastic complex, the pagan Garni temple, the Symphony of Stones, and the Charents Arch. They also played educational games focused on Armenian literature and history.
A representative of the ARF Artsakh Youth Organization, Vahagn Khachatryan, welcomed the participants. Hermine Avagyan, director of the Hamazkayin Artsakh Office, in turn, said, “This is a memorable day for our students because they not only had a chance to see more of Armenia, but also because they became friends with young people from Artsakh. The office is grateful for this cooperation, which opens up and recognizes so much potential.”
