On April 14, 2023, the newly opened Hamazkayin Office in the Russian Federation hosted a dozen Armenian teachers living in Moscow and its suburbs. The purpose of the gathering was to get to know each other, to share experiences and resources, to recruit additional staff for the existing and anticipated Hamazkayin Armenian-language schools, and to cover other matters of interest to educators in Russia.
Board members told the teachers about the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society, with its 95 years of service across the Armenian diaspora, and about its activities in the Russian Federation. The meeting led to the establishment of an online platform to share insights and maintain contact.
