Tenth-grade students from the Hamazkayin Marseille School took a trip with their Armenian teachers to a science festival in Aix-en-Provence for kindergarten students.
The students presented two workshops. The first was about the inventor of the Armenian alphabet, Mesrob Mashtots. With slides, the kindergarteners learned about the saint’s life and work in the fourth century.
The second workshop was on Armenian calligraphy work. The children used ink on artificial papyrus.
This was a meaningful and special celebration of Translators’ Day.
