The “Varanda” Chorus is 30 years old. In September, 2022, the ensemble is holding concerts in Stepanakert dedicated to its thirtieth anniversary. On this occasion, the worldwide family of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Association dispatched a congratulatory message, which the director of the Hamazkayin Artsakh Office read from the stage.
Congratulatory Message
Robust Compatriots in Artsakh,
Comrade Zakar Keshishian,
Children of the “Varanda” Chorus,
The worldwide family of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Association has followed the growth of the Shushi “Varanda” Chorus with excitement and a throbbing heart, and today considers your efforts to reconstitute the chorus in postwar Artsakh to be extremely important. In our land, you are a source of light and hope and unwavering faith in the future.
You make Artsakh live because children’s eyes hold the future of Artsakh and us all. We believe that our wounded country will demonstrate its continued existence every day through you, and our victorious song will still reverberate in the deaf ears of the world.
Dear “Varanda,” Congratulations on thirty years. Live and make Armenian song live. With Armenian song let hope germinate and let hope and faith flourish throughout Artsakh.
We are so proud of you,
Warmly,
The Family of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Association
