Puppet shows were held between January 7 and 12, 2022, in the Martuni region of Artsakh for children, Aparaj reports. The program was organized by the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society’s Artsakh Office and sponsored by Shant Chashafjian, a repatriate in the city of Martuni.
On January 9, the actors of the Shushi Mkrtich Khandamiryan State Theater performed in the village of Khnushinak and the city of Chartar.
Hermine Avagyan, the director of the Hamazkayin Artsakh Office, said the performances were held in other towns with appropriate facilities. Children from neighboring villages attended.
“The children were happy, and we understood yet again, that such programs are sorely needed especially in village communities. We will continue to provide them,” she added.
