
On Saturday, January 18, 2025, an online meeting brought together the officers (tivans) of 17 Hamazkayin regional executive boards, along with the members of the Central Executive Board. Zakar Keshishian, chairperson of the central board, opened the meeting and explained that members of the great Hamazkayin family were gathered at the beginning of the new year to share information about their activities and difficulties so as to confront the challenges and achieve greater success.
The central board then reported on actions taken to date and planned for the future to implement the decisions of the Ninth Convention of Hamazkayin, as well as other activities, including a program to prepare artistic directors for regions, which will require the participation of the regions.
Certain organizational questions were discussed during the meeting, and direction was given that will be useful for the vigorous and fruitful activity of the organization worldwide.
Representatives from each region reported about their plans for 2025, mentioning the scope of the activities and raising any difficulties they anticipate. The Eastern United States, Western United States, Canada, Australia, Greece, London, Paris, Marseille, Brazil, Montevideo, Argentina, Sweden, Belgium, Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria, and Russia regions were present through their board officers.
