
The annual recital of the Hamazkayin Kayane School of Dance took place on November 15, 2025, at the UNESCO Hall in Lebanon. It was organized by the Board of Trustees and administration of the Hamazkayin Schools of Fine Arts, held under the patronage of the Lebanese Ministry of Culture, and presided over by Mr. and Mrs. Hrair and Talin Khatchadourian.
The event was attended by a wide range of dignitaries and community members, including Dr. Nora Bayrakdarian, Lebanon’s Minister of Youth and Sports; Dr. Ali Samad, general director of the Ministry of Culture, representing Minister Dr. Ghassan Salame; Alexander Sorokin, director of the Russian House in Beirut, along with representatives from the embassy's cultural department; representatives from the cultural department of the French Embassy in Lebanon; Setrag Havatian, mayor of Ainjar; members of the Hamazkayin Central Executive Board; clergy; representatives of various organizations; art lovers; parents; and students.
Under the supervision of instructors Jacqueline Sarkhoshian and Garen Maginian, the students presented a diverse program divided into two acts. In the first act, the Kayane students performed Yarkhushta, Ver Veri, Hey Jan Hayastan, “Armenian Dance,” Shirak Dance, Kochari, Dodig, Hayuhi, Bebo's Song, and To Artsakh.
In the second act, the students performed Toka Toka, Biri Bibiri, Waka Waka, Latino, Melody, Shalako, Russian Dance, Caucasian Dance, Gypsy, and Indian. The performance concluded with a collective finale featuring all 200 students, which was met with great appreciation and applause from the audience.
