Every year on February 19, on the day of the distinguished Armenian writer Hovhannes Tumanyan's birth, Armenia marks Book Presenting Day. Armenian Office of Hamazkayin, following this tradition formed in recent years, dedicated the Intellectuals' Club Forum of February 20 to Book Presenting Day.
After the historical overview to the Hamazkayin Educational and Cultural Society, Hamazkayin Office Manager, Nare Mikaelian presented the ten exclusive publications of Hamazkayin. Those publications were Sargis Harutyunyan’s "Armenian Mythology" and "13 Plays" Collection, Orhan Pamuk's "The Snow", Vardan Fereshetean's Collection "The Book Collector", Hamasdegh's "Selected Stories", Zorayr Khalapian's "Vasil the Great, Armenian Emperor of the Byzantines or King of Jugs" Berjouhi's "Parched Days", "Anthology of Diaspora Armenian Literature", Anthology "18 – 33, Modern Armenian Poetry", Natalia Tadevosian's Memoirs "Crater", translated into Armenian.
After summarizing the results of the previously announced contest, the books were presented to Smbat Hovhannisyan, Nzhdeh Yeranian, Ani Avetisian, Nazeni Kevorkian, Taguhi Ghazarian, Vahe Avetisian, Mary Tevosian, David Gevorkyan, Naira Khachibabian, and Hripsime Galstian as a gift.
