
Levon Shant Theater Unit Executive Board held an intimate gathering at the community center. The Regional Executive Board for Syria, and the culture-loving, theater-loving former and current actors of the theater were invited.
Tamar Parseghian Sarkis delivered opening remarks; welcoming the guests, she said theater is a way of promoting peace and strengthening ties between peoples. She said theater is a school, and so it is possible to educate people through it. She then congratulated the attendees.
A slide show highlighted plays presented in the past, refreshing the memories of the attendees. Then the chairperson of the executive board, Sako Khaloyan, read the World Day of Theater message penned by Willem Dafoe. Following this, former members of the group were given a chance to reminisce.
At the end, a neat and modest reception took place, prepared by the executive board. The attendees left the center inclined to repeat such a gathering, which bridges the past with the present, bringing forth ever new programs and successes. Amidst good wishes, that day's program concluded, adding new memories to the minds of the attendees.
