July 30 was a beautiful and memorable day for the students of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society’s Artsakh office. An exhibition of the students’ handiwork was organized for the participants of the Hamazkayin Forum, who had traveled to Armenia from various countries.
The exhibition featured works by students from the “Skillful Hands” clubs of Hamazkayin’s Artsakh office in Gyumri and Masis, under the guidance of their teachers, Armen Gabrielyan and Marine Boghosyan.
The exhibition opened with words of welcome from the director of the Hamazkayin Artsakh Office, Hermine Avagyan. Mr. Gabrielyan then shared his thoughts. They presented symbolic gifts to the forum organizers to congratulate them on the 30th anniversary of the Hamazkayin Student Forum.
The event continued with a workshop organized by the talented students, who taught the attendees how to craft “Shushi doors.” The exhibition also included a solo presentation by Yuri, a young boy from Shushi, as well as recitations by the students in Artsakh dialect.
Afterward, an open class on traditional Armenian dance was held for the participants.
