On November 1, 2025, the Hamazkayin “Young Armenologist” Program united students from Armenian schools in Sydney and Melbourne for the fourth consecutive year for a warm and intimate Armenian studies game-competition.
Six schools joined the competition. The theme was Artsakh.
Before the competition, the young Armenologists gathered to interpret the sketches depicting the four-day war in Artsakh, as well as to assemble a mosaic of the Artsakh map. The young people told the story of the sketches with meaningful, original, and sometimes moving interpretations. Then, in a lively atmosphere, they got to know each other, after which they headed to the performance hall of Hamazkaine Arshak & Sophie Galstaun College, on the northern beaches of Sydney, where the audience was guided on a remarkable journey toward historical, cultural, spiritual, and struggling Artsakh, witnessing Artsakh's millennia-old Armenian identity at every step.
