This year again, members of the Hamazkayin Cyprus Dance Unit, organized by the Hamazkayin Cyprus Executive Board and led by dance instructor Krikor Keleshian, had the opportunity to participate in a dance camp in Dilijan from August 10 to 15.
In one of the most beautiful places in Armenia, the young people spent five days surrounded by nature, attending classes, playing games, and going on excursions. They continuously danced with their peers from other dance groups in a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere.
By the end of the dance camp, they had strengthened their resolve to preserve their cultural heritage and developed a stronger sense of love and respect for one another and a deep connection to their homeland. They returned rejuvenated and ready to begin the new dance season with excitement.
We are grateful to our tireless dance instructor and his wife, Nanor, for undertaking this challenging but fulfilling responsibility and bringing it to a successful completion.
