A celebration of Armenian provinces was organized by the Kuwait Chapter of Hamazkayin and took place on November 28, 2025. Among those present were Arsen Arakelyan, ambassador of Armenia to Kuwait, ambassadors from other countries, a representative from the US Embassy, and representatives of the community’s national bodies.
Samuel Lakhoyan delivered welcoming remarks on behalf of the Chapter Executive Board. Attendees then toured booths dedicated to six provinces—Sasun, Aintab, Marash, Urfa, Kilis, and Kharpert—prepared by the children of the community. Each booth showcased handicrafts, jewelry, photographs, traditional costumes, musical instruments, and traditional dishes of one province.
Each group then presented the history, folklore, and customs of its province through an artistic program.
At the end of the program, the Armenian ambassador made some remarks and Rev. Fr. Ardak Keheyan, closed the evening with a prayer.
