The Hamazkayin Regional Executive Board for the Eastern United States organized an unprecedented festival of Armenian music in Philadelphia, at the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church, on June 19–21, 2025. Participants included the experienced musicians Zakar Keshishian, Sevag Avanesian, Hrachia Avanesian, and Serouj Kradjian along with 20 young musicians.
The festival aimed to familiarize young musicians with Armenian music and musical instruments, giving them a chance to work with recognized musicians. A further goal was to gather the community around Hamazkayin and Armenian culture.
Over the course of three days, the musicians brought joy and beauty to the church hall and the Sunday School classrooms.
